We are already in our sandals and t-shirts over here because, as you know, summer is coming! We are itching for a laughter-filled road trip with good friends, good food, and an exciting destination. We feel like we should be packing our bags and hitting the road because that long-awaited vacation time and those warm blistering sun-filled days are AT LAST around the corner. That black tar road is seriously calling our names.
Road trips are definitely a challenge though! It’s so tempting to just stuff your face with cheetos and all of that unhealthy good stuff, let alone the temptation to stop at any of the restaurants you pass by. That is why we decided to put together a delectable list of healthy road trip snacks, because such a thing does exist, and it will help us all maintain our fitness goals, even when we’re stuffed in a car for hours at end. It’s worse enough that when you go road tripping, you’re sitting idle for hours. You have to at least keep the calories low. With that in mind, let’s hit the road.
